TruWonder reveals the wonder of who God is to preschool and kindergarten children, allowing them to Explore, Discover, Respond, and be Blessed in an interactive environment.

TruWonder begins in the home, equipping parents to be primary in spiritually nurturing their preschool children through a powerful resource called HomeFront. HomeFront provides opportunities for families to come together and experience storytelling, God's Word, new family traditions, fun games, recipes, family blessings, prayer, and more.

Explore/Welcome & Engage

Exploration stations create space intended to transition children from the external world into an environment where they can meet with God, just as they are, with all that they are.

Discover/Large Group

During Discover, children move into a large group setting and participate in discovering God's Word through interactive games, songs, and storytelling.

Respond/Large Group

During large group Respond, children are given an opportunity to worship individually and corporately through song, prayer, and boldly declaring what they know about who God is. Even children as young as three can encounter God in unique ways!

Respond/Small Group

The small group Respond time gives children an opportunity to engage in relationship—both with peers and leaders—as they reflect on the lesson and respond through art, in a time called Create.

Bless/Small Group

The Bless portion of the lesson provides a time for leaders and parents to bless their children. A blessing can be a prayer of commission, a portion of Scripture, or words of encouragement.

We offer a blessing at the end of the service as a benediction. The word "benediction" literally means "good speaking" and is most often translated "blessing." Numbers 6:22-26 records the Lord instructing Moses to bless the people with these words, "The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the LORD lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace."

Remember & Celebrate

The Old Testament traditions of the Israelites included regularly scheduled festivals, allowing them to pause to remember and celebrate what God had been doing in their lives. Similarly, we have chosen to pause every 6th and 13th week to remember and celebrate the ways in which we've been experiencing God. These Remember & Celebrate lessons are designed to allow kids to share their own stories, proclaim the ways they've experienced God in their lives, and truly worship and celebrate together as a faith community.

TruStory is a large group/small group resource designed to reveal The Big God Story of God's redemptive plan for elementary-age kids, allowing them to Anticipate, Celebrate, Respond, and be Blessed in an participatory environment.

Anticipate/Small Group, Check-In

Anticipate is an energizing time for parents and kids to start engaging with the material that will be presented in the lesson. It is intentionally designed to spark curiosity about what they will be experiencing.

Celebrate/Large Group

During the Celebrate portion of the lesson, kids get to be a part of the community of God's family. They participate in traditions and share them with newcomers, connect through fun and interaction, and experience The Big God Story through storytelling.

Respond/Large Group

During our large group Respond time, kids worship through silence, prayer, singing, giving, sharing, and gratitude.

Respond/Small Group

The small group Respond time is a time to engage in relationships, reflect on the lesson, and create
a collaborative project or piece of art. During the time of reflection, kids are encouraged to explore personal responses to God.
